My Experience
The Honors Program has given me many challenges and opportunities that I would have missed otherwise. From my first experience with Honors at the Welcome Retreat I knew this program was something different. By living in the honors section of Turner Hall, I was able to meet other ambitious students in my majors as well as meet many new friends.
In addition to widening my view of an education, the Honors Program has allowed me to network and fulfill my potential as a leader. In fact before entering college I would be satisfied to slip through college as long as I had a job at the end of it. The Honors Program has pushed me to become the best person I can be through heavy involvement and leadership opportunities.
The Honors Program is what compelled me to find my goals and purpose I want to pursue in life. Through key experiences, one can follow my progress from a disinterested architecture student to the ardent Biology and Spanish student and leader I am today. These experiences can be found in the phases tab.
